Trailer Warranty
Scaf-Pak Trailers, LLC warrants its products to be free from defects in materials and workmanship for a period of (1) year from the date of purchase by the original purchaser. Such warranty extends only to the original purchaser upon satisfactory compliance with the following conditions:
Scaf-Pak Trailers, LLC warranties the paint finish for a period of (1) year. We will repair at no charge (excluding freight) any area which is obviously peeling due to a defect in original material, cleaning or paint. This warranty does not include gravel chips, scratches, neglect or other abuse beyond our control due to salt spray, heat, freezing, direct sunlight, etc.
No warranty is extended for damage caused by operator error in failing to torque tighten all lug nuts, check tire condition, breaking abilities and all other conditions normally associate with normal trailer operation. Additionally, operator error in failing to properly attach the trailer to the tow vehicle as mandated by federal regulations and hitch specifications will void any warranty otherwise made herein.
This warranty does not apply to any damage due to loading in excess of the Gross Vehicle Weight rating displayed on the trailer. Use of the trailer for any purpose not intended will constitute misuse and will void the warranty.
The warranty does not cover any economic loss including without limitation: payment for loss of time or pay, inconvenience, loss of trailer use, trailer rental expense, lodging, meals, storage charges and any other incidental loss or damage of any nature.
Scaf-Pak Trailers, LLC reserves the right to make design changes in trailers built and or sold at any time without incurring any obligation to make the same or similar changes to trailers previously built and or sold by Scaf-Pak Trailers, LLC.
